Uthor of the High Tower was a legendary king of House Hightower. He was married to Maris the Maid.
History[]
He married Maris before she could be wed to Argoth Stone-Skin, who had won her hand in the first ever tourney of Westeros.
He later commisioned either Bran the Builder or his son, Brandon Stark, to rebuild the Hightower. It was changed from being a talltimbre tower, to being a structure of stone that rises over two hundred feet over the Whispering Sound.
