The Tower of Joy was a round tower in the Red Mountains of Dorne. It is located near the Prince's Pass.
History[]
Tower of Joy is the tower where Lyanna Stark was made captive by Rhaegar Targaryen, during Robert's Rebellion. After the end of the war, Eddard and six companions went there to rescue her, against three of the Kingsguard men. The result of the battle was the death of every man except Eddard Stark and Howland Reed.
