sabitha Frey, born Sabitha Vypren, was the Lady of the Twins during the Dance of the Dragons. She was the wife of Lord Forrest Frey.
Appearance and Character[]
Sabitha was considered to be merciless and grasping. Mushroom describes her as sharp-featured and sharp-tongued, saying that she would prefer riding and wearing mail over more ladylike comparisons. It is also suggested that Sabitha had an attraction towards women.
History[]
During the Dance of the Dragons, Sabitha met Lord Roderick Dustin at the Twins as he travelled south. Her husband, Lord Forrest, was slain during the Battle by the Lakeshore. Three days after Harrenhal was abandoned by Ser Criston Cole and Prince Aemond Targaryen it was seized by Sabitha. When Prince Aemond returned unexpectedly, Sabitha survived Vhagar's dragonfire by hiding in the privy. Afterwards, she returned to the Twins.
Sabitha joined her kin from House Vypren amid the force under Ser Addam Velaryon for the Second Battle of Tumbleton, and she participated during the Battle of the Kingsroad. During the campaign, it was said that Sabith and Alysanne Blackwood shared a tent. The two women joined the Lads in marching on King's Landing, where they were welcomed by the populace.
Lady Sabitha later contributed six hundred Frey men to the force commanded by Ser Robert Rowan, when he marched to the Vale of Arryn to restore peace.
