Rus is one of the Drowned Men of Aeron Greyjoy, and helps him do his work on Great Wyk. He helps Aeron drown a boy called Emmond, and is present afterwards to hear the news of the death of King Balon Greyjoy. he travels with the other Drowned Men to Pebbleton, where he is present when Aeron declares of the need for a Kingsmoot.
