Lord Roderick Dustin, also known as Roddy the Ruin was the head of House Dustin and Lord of Barrowton during the Targaryen civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons. He died of wounds sustained during the First Battle of Tumbleton.
History[]
Roderick followed his liege lord, Cregan Stark, into supporting the blacks and Queen Rhaenyra Targaryen in the war. He was given charge of 2000 northmen and was sent south of The Neck whilst the bulk of the Stark army assembled. He would lead the group that became known as the Winter Wolves into important battles during the war, including the Battle by the Lakeshore and the Butcher's Ball.
During the First Battle of Tumbleton he would lead the surviving northmen and launch a charge against the army of House Hightower, although they were outnumbered during the fighting. He would pick up wounds during the battle, including having his shield arm removed by Ser Bryndon Hightower, yet he would live long enough after to kill Bryndon and the general of the Hightower forces, Lord Ormund Hightower.
