Princess Myrcella Baratheon is the legal daughter of King Robert Baratheon and Queen Cersei Lannister, but her actual father is Ser Jaime Lannister. She is the younger sister of King Joffrey I Baratheon and serves as the heir presumptive of King Tommen I Baratheon. Her sworn shield is Ser Arys Oakheart.
Appearance and Character Edit
She is likened to her mother in appearance, but without the vindictive character of Cersei. She is delicate, beautiful, courteous and courageous. She is fond of the game Cyvasse. She is described as seeming insipid by Jon Snow.
She later loses an ear and is given a facial scar by Ser Gerold Dayne.
Myrcella lacks any of Cersei's cruelty, narcissism, megalomania or sociopathic qualities. She is beloved by her younger brother Tommen, if reviled by her older sibling Joffrey; however, unlike Tommen, Myrcella had no fear of standing up to Joffrey and calling him out for mistakes he's made.
She adapts impressively to the circumstances she's forced into in Dorne, and actively enjoys it. She does not appear to wish anyone any malice or harm, unlike her mother. Myrcella is observed to be sharp-witted and fearless, in contrast to Tommen.
A Game of Thrones Edit
Myrcella accompanies her legal parents to Winterfell when Robert decides to name Lord Eddard Stark as Hand of the King. She is presented to Eddard and his wife, Lady Catelyn Tully, with her siblings. She is escorted into the feast by Robb Stark.
