King Morgon Banefort was the last of the Hooded Kings of House Banefort.

Morgon and his thralls were defeated in a twenty year long war with King Loreon I Lannister, who was King of the Rock.
Morgon was reputedly a feared necromancer, and he cursed his vanquishers as he died, claiming that he would return from the grave. In response, Loreon had Morgon's corpse chopped up and fed to his lions. Two years later, the lions broke free within Casterly Rock, and killed three of Loreon's sons.
