During the Second Siege of Riverrun, Ser Daven Lannister sends Ser Manfryd with Ser Raynard Ruttiger to make sure that no escape is made from Riverrun during the siege.
Ser Brynden Tully escapes the siege by swimming downstream during the night. Ser Jaime Lannister suspects that if Manfryd or Raynard heard anything then they would just assume it was a turtle or a trout.
