Lucas Blackwood was the second son of Lord Tytos Blackwood. He fought for King Robb Stark during the War of the Five Kings, and was murdered by House Frey at the event that later became known as the Red Wedding.

A Clash of Kings[]
Lucas is one of the companions sent with Lady Catelyn Stark to treat with Renly Baratheon and Stannis Baratheon in the hopes of securing an alliance between Robb and one of them. He is presumably assigned with protecting Catelyn's person.
A Storm of Swords[]
Lucas attends the wedding of Lord Edmure Tully and Roslin Frey, which later becomes known as the Red Wedding. He is personally killed by Ser Hosteen Frey. His death may have been why his father did not immediately bend the knee to either King Joffrey I Baratheon, or later his brother King Tommen I Baratheon.
A Dance with Dragons[]
Lucas' bones are to be returned to Raventree Hall as part of Lord Tytos' deal to bend the knee peacefully. He intends to give Lucas a proper Old Gods funeral, burying him under the great weirwood of Raventree.
