Location of Lorath
Lorath is one of the nine Free Cities, and one the seven that are also ports, and is located on an island to the east, and slightly south of, Braavos.
Like the other Free Cities, Lorath was founded by the Freehold of Valyria. As such their language is most likely derived from High Valyrian.
Lorath is fairly peaceful compared to many of the other Free Cities, such as Lys, Myr, and Tyrosh, which are forever fighting over the Disputed Lands.
Jaqen H'ghar claims to have originated from Lorath.[1]
