House Lydden is a noble house from the Westerlands. Their seat is the Deep Den. Their sigil is a white badger on a per pale green and brown field. The current head of the house is Lord Lewys Lydden.
History[]
The Lyddens were Andal adventurers who settled in the Westerlands. Ser Joffrey Lydden married into House Lannister and became the first Andal King of the Rock, ruling as King Joffrey Lannister.

Tyrion Lannister sees the badger of Lydden amongst the gathered army of his father, Tywin Lannister, at the Inn at the Crossroads. The Lyddens fight with the Leffords, and Serretts in the centre, under the command of Ser Kevan Lannister, during the Battle of the Green Fork.
A Clash of Kings[]
A Lydden archer is hanged at Harrenhal for starting a fight by teasing the Brave Companions over their failures to capture Beric Dondarrion. Arya Stark spots the badger of Lydden when Tywin leaves Harrenhal. Lewys Lydden is one of the great lords of the Westerlands honoured after the Battle of the Blackwater.
