House Goodbrook is a noble house from the Riverlands. Their sigil is a blue wavy bend on gold. The current head of the house is Lord Lymond Goodbrook.
The name and location of the Goodbrook seat are both unknown, however they are near to those of House Smallwood of Acorn Hall, suggesting that the Goodbrook lands are east of the Red Fork.
History[]
Lord Goodbrook supported King Harwyn Hoare, King of the Iron Islands, in his war with Storm King Arrec Durrandon.
Lord Goodbrook was one of the lords of the Riverlands that stayed loyal to King Aerys II Targaryen during Robert's Rebellion. For this, their liege lord, Hoster Tully, descended upon the Goodbrooks and destroyed at least one village. After the war, his son made peace with King Robert I Baratheon and Lord Hoster, but the Goodbrook wealth had been substantially reduced due to the fighting.
