House Caswell follow their liege lords in declaring for King Renly Baratheon upon the death of King Robert Baratheon. Catelyn Stark meets Renly's army under the walls of Bitterbridge, where a feast and tourney are being held. Lord Caswell shuts himself up inside Bitterbridge after the death of Renly near Storm's End.

A Feast for Crows[]

Caswell men are encountered at Maidenpool by Brienne Tarth. This presumably means that Lorent Caswell has sided with his liege lords in favour of King Tommen I Baratheon. It also suggests that the Caswell forces are under the command of Lord Randyll Tarly, who held Maidenpool at the time.
