House Cargyll is an extinct house of the The Crownlands. Their sigil was a golden goose on bendy sinister black and red.

History[]

Not much is known of this house, except that they sent knights to fight in the great tourney at Ashford in 209 AL, the same tourney where Prince Baelor Targaryen died in a Trial of Seven. At some point in the succeeding years, the house was destroyed.

Source[]

The house is briefly mentioned as being present in The Hedge Knight, when they are named as one of the more prominent houses of the south and west, mentioned in the same breath as the likes of House Mallister and House Marbrand. According to information provided by GRRM to Westeros.org, the house subsequently died out.
