Herndon of the Horn is one of the legendary children of Garth Greenhand. He was the twin brother of Harlon the Hunter. He supposedly started House Tarly, along with his brother.
History[]
He and his twin brother built their castle upon the top of Horn Hill, and took to wife the beautiful woods-witch who resided there. They shared her favour for a hundred years. The brothers did not age, provided they had intercourse with her whenever the moon was full.
