Greywater Watch is one of the principal castles of The North and is the seat of House Reed. The current Lord of Greywater Watch is It is located in The Neck, a region of marshes and swamps. It sits upon a crannog and floats around the Neck, making it nearly impossible to locate.

Greywater Watch is located in the Neck, to the south of Moat Cailin and White Harbor and to the east of Flint's Finger, and to the north of the Twins, located in The Riverlands. It's exact location is unknown.

Robb Stark leaves Howland Reed and his crannogmen behind to guard the Neck from Lord Tywin Lannister and his armies when he marches south to rescue his father, Lord Eddard Stark from captivity in King's Landing. Howland also dispatches his children, Meera Reed and Jojen Reed to Winterfell to reswear fealty to House Stark.
