Golden Tooth, or commonly known as The Tooth, is a stronghold in The Westerlands in Westeros. It is the seat of House Lefford. A noble house sworn to House Lannister of Casterly Rock. It is known for being rich in gold.
Location[]
It is located near the River Road, in the pass between two mountainous areas, northeast of Casterly Rock and southeast of Riverrun, close to the borders between the Westerlands and the Riverlands.
Although the Golden Tooth is a small castle, it is a strong keep commanding the hill road.
About[]
The Golden Tooth strategic location guards the one and only passage through the mountains that allows direct travel between the Westerlands and the Riverlands to the east. Hence there is no way to attack the Westerlands form the East without taking The Golden Tooth first.
