The only son of Ser Ronnel Arryn and his wife, a daughter of House Belmore. After his father's death, Elbert was named heir to the Eyrie by his uncle, Lord Jon Arryn. Elbert rode into the Red Keep alongside Brandon Stark, Jeffory Mallisterr, Kyle Royce, and Ethan Glover in an attempt to confront Prince Rhaegar Targaryen over his alleged abduction of Lyanna Stark. Elbert was taken prisoner and eventually executed by order of King Aerys II Targaryen.
