Ser Dontos Hollard is an anointed knight of House Hollard. He is killed by Ser Lothor Brune on the orders of Lord Petyr Baelish after helping Sansa Stark escape King's Landing.
Appearance and Character[]
Dontos is portly with blotchy skin. His nose is full of broken veins. He is very often drunk.
History[]
Dontos was a babe during the events of the Defiance of Duskendale, and his house supported Lord Denys Darklyn against King Aerys II Targaryen. The majority of House Hollard were slaughtered, but Ser Barristan Selmy asked for Dontos to be spared, and, as it was Barristan that saved him, the king agreed. Dontos was taken back to King's Landing to serve as a squire.
He never returned to Duskendale.
