Brandon of the Bloody Blade was one of the sons of Garth Greenhand, the High King of the First Men. According to some tales, he was the earliest known ancestor of House Stark.

History

Brandon of the Bloody Blade is known for ridding the Reach of the giants and waging war against the Children of the Forest. According to legend, he killed so many Children of the Forest at a body of water known as the Blue Lake, that it soon after came to be known as the Red Lake.
