A Clash of Kings[]
Asha sails the Black Wind to Great Wyk to deliver messages from her father, Balon Greyjoy. After the Ironborn join the War of the Five Kings, Asha takes thirty longships to the Bay of Ice to take Deepwood Motte, the seat of House Glover.
A Feast for Crows[]
After her father's death, Asha sails back to the Iron Islands, stopping along the Stony Shore to find a wetnurse for Erena Glover. She visits her uncle, Rodrik Harlaw, at Ten Towers, before sailing to the Kingsmoot on Old Wyk. She beaches the Black Wind near the castle of Lord Norne Goodbrother.
A Dance with Dragons[]
After her uncle, Euron Greyjoy, is chosen as the new King of the Iron Islands, Asha escapes to Deepwood Motte on board the Black Wind. She has only four longships remaining, including Black Wind and Tristifer Botley's. Black Wind is either taken or destroyed when Alysane Mormont attacks in the name of Stannis Baratheon.
