Lord Aerys Targaryen was the fifth Lord of Dragonstone from House Targaryen.

Aerys was born at Dragonstone, the son of Lord Aegon Targaryen and his sister, Elaena. He was the father of Aelyx, Baelon, and Daemion Targaryen, and the great grandfather of Visenya, Rhaenys, and Aegon I Targaryen.
